⚡ QUICK TAKE

A surprisingly comfortable modern sport bike that can feel calm and manageable one moment… then wildly exciting the next.

“It can be super easygoing… until you accidentally give it a handful.” 😂

🤍 WHAT I LOVED

  • Comfortable riding position for a sport bike

  • Strong range of usable power

  • Easy to ride calmly when needed

  • Exciting performance when opened up

  • Modern electronics package

  • Great blend of road and track capability

  • Sporty without feeling cramped

⚠️ WHAT FELT CHALLENGING

  • Very lively acceleration off the line

  • Front wheel lift even with wheelie control enabled

  • Requires throttle respect and smooth inputs

  • Can surprise newer riders with how strong the power delivery feels

PERSONAL NOTES

The RS660 LAMS feels like one of those bikes that completely changes people’s expectations of what a learner-approved sport bike can be.

A lot of riders expect something harsh, uncomfortable, or intimidating from a sporty faired bike, but the comfort side of the RS660 seems to genuinely surprise people. The ergonomics appear far more forgiving than traditional supersports while still keeping that sharp sporty feeling.

What really stands out though is the personality of the engine. B B’s review perfectly captures the dual nature of the bike — calm and manageable when riding casually, but very alive and playful once the throttle gets opened up.

That combination probably explains why the RS660 has become so appealing to riders wanting something they won’t immediately outgrow. It has enough rider aids and refinement to stay approachable, while still feeling genuinely exciting and slightly chaotic in the best way.

🧭 WHO THIS BIKE SUITS

  • Riders wanting a premium-feeling LAMS sport bike

  • Riders wanting comfort without losing sporty performance

  • Beginner/intermediate riders comfortable respecting power

  • Track day and weekend riders

  • Riders wanting strong electronics and rider aids

🚫 WHO IT MIGHT NOT SUIT

  • Riders wanting extremely mellow beginner bikes

  • Riders uncomfortable with lively acceleration

  • Riders wanting upright naked-bike ergonomics

  • Riders wanting cheap/easy ownership and parts availability

⭐ FINAL VERDICT

The RS660 LAMS feels like a sport bike that genuinely grows with the rider instead of limiting them.

Comfortable, exciting, and surprisingly capable, it blends modern rider aids with enough personality to keep even experienced riders entertained.
