โก QUICK TAKE
A high-revving, unforgettable machine thatโs thrilling to ride โ but far from beginner-friendly despite its LAMS status.
โIt redlines at 20,000 rpm โ and if youโre not above 10k, youโre going nowhere.โ
๐ค WHAT I LOVED
Unique, high-revving engine โ redlines at 20,000 rpm
A raw, unforgettable riding experience
Feels rewarding once you learn how to ride it properly
Lightweight and compact
Full of character and old-school charm
โ ๏ธ WHAT FELT CHALLENGING
Unforgiving and not beginner-friendly
Requires constant high revs to perform
Demanding gear changes and throttle control
No rider aids (no ABS, no traction control)
Older, temperamental, and requires attention
PERSONAL NOTES
This bike is an experience โ not a stepping stone.
It might be labelled as a learner bike, but it doesnโt behave like one. It demands skill, attention, and a willingness to learn how to ride it, not just ride in general.
You have to keep it in the powerband, stay on top of your gear changes, and accept that it wonโt forgive mistakes easily. But if youโre up for that challenge, it becomes incredibly rewarding.
Itโs also a reminder that not all โsmall bikesโ are easy bikes. Compared to modern 300โ400cc twins or singles, this is a completely different world.
๐งญ WHO THIS BIKE SUITS
Experienced riders wanting a unique, high-revving bike
Riders who enjoy raw, old-school performance
Those looking for a challenging and engaging ride
๐ซ WHO IT MIGHT NOT SUIT
Beginner riders
Those wanting a forgiving or easy-to-learn bike
Riders expecting modern comfort or rider aids
โญ FINAL VERDICT
No โ not as a learner bike.
An incredible machine with a unique character, but one that demands skill and respect. Better suited as a second bike or a passion project than a first ride.
